This morning there was a false report of an active shooter at Pleasant Run Middle School. All Northwest campuses are safe and have been cleared by the police.
If parents of students in Pleasant Run Elementary and Middle School still wish to pick up their child(ren) and take them home, they can do so. Pick-Up Instructions
Parents must enter the campus from Kemper Road and follow directions from staff once they are on campus. All parents/guardians who are picking up a student must have an ID ready and be an authorized contact. Once you leave the campus site, you must turn left and go south on Pippin to keep the traffic flow safe and efficient.
Children who remain in school will follow a normal schedule.
Please avoid calling the school if possible as staff are assisting with the dismissal process. We appreciate your cooperation and are grateful that all our safe. We are thankful for our law enforcement officers who work in partnership with the district.
