NWLSD Welcomes Kaitlyn Randall As A Special Education Supervisor

Northwest Local School District (NWLSD) is proud to welcome Kaitlyn Randall as a new Supervisor of Special Education.

Randall brings a wealth of knowledge to NWLSD with over 10 years of experience working in education. She began her journey in education at Princeton City School District as an Intervention Specialist. She joined the NWLSD family in 2015, where she worked for Monfort Heights Elementary (MHE) as an Instructional Coach for two years. During her time at MHE, her dedication to students and her leadership skills were seen and recognized by all. In 2018, Kaitlyn became the Principal of MHE, a role she has currently held for the last few years.

“Monfort Heights has been an amazing place to work. I have been extremely blessed to meet and work alongside many talented NWLSD teachers and administrators.” said Randall. “Being a part of the Northwest Local School District comes with spirit, compassion and a love for our community.”

Randall is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. During her time there, she obtained her Bachelor’s in Special Education and later received her Master’s in Educational Leadership. Kaitlyn has also received a Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Endorsement.

Randall, who is eager to get started, will begin working as a Special Education Supervisor on August 1, at the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year. She will begin her transition in July, but will work closely with the District and MHE administrative teams to ensure a smooth transition.

“While the decision to transition into a new role as a Special Education Supervisor has been difficult, I am looking forward to the opportunity to serve our students in a different capacity to ensure they are thriving in and out of the classroom."
